What are outcomes

One of CMG’s values as an organisation is ‘opportunity to achieve’. It is central to our ethos that we help the people we support to do as much as possible for themselves, whether this is very small steps or achieving significant milestones like learning to cook simple meals independently or travel without support. Our aim is to help people maximise their potential and, where possible, live safely and successfully without always needing staff support. We actively help people to move on from residential care to supported living and, where it is appropriate and safe for them to do so, to move onto live independently with outreach support.

In order to provide a clear structure with independent verification, CMG has embraced ASDAN, a nationally recognised method of teaching people independence skills and evidencing outcomes which we are rolling out across the organisation.
